Anita June Buzzy

Anita Foos Buzzy, loving sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed on into her eternal home, on August 25th, 2024, at age 86. Her strong faith guided her on her journey and brought her ultimate peace. 

 She was born to Alfred and Dorothy Parker, in Fromberg on June 6, 1938. After graduating from Fromberg High School, she attended Eastern Montana College for a year. She married Gerald Foos on July 28, 1957, and together they had two children, Monte and Tammy. They divorced in 1980. 

 Anita later married Lawrence Buzzy. 

 Anita worked at Hoiness LaBar Insurance in Billings, for many years. Upon her retirement, she moved to Lewistown to be near her grandchildren. 

 Anita pursued her faith in Jesus with passion and devotion. She was a servant at heart and lived that out by volunteering in her community and church and working at the Caslen Assisted Living Center. In her later years when she could not get out much, she baked cookies to share with those she chose to bless! She enjoyed blessing her family by cooking Sunday dinner every week.

 Anita was a die-hard Denver Broncos fan! She performed a happy dance every time they scored! In November of 2023, she got to attend a Broncos game with her kids in Denver. And Denver won... BONUS! 

 Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Dorothy Parker, and her brother, Neil Parker. 

 Anita is survived by her sisters Jewell Swan and Genevieve Jean Hodges, son Monte Foos, daughter Tammy (Joe) Eckhardt, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren (with one on the way!)

 Cremation has taken place. Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 12th, at 11:00 am, at New Life Assembly Church in Lewistown, with a reception following. The interment will be held on Saturday, September 14th, at 1:00 pm, at the Rockvale Cemetery.
