Austin J. Wilson

June 23, 1997 — January 28, 2020

It is with a deep sadness that Austin James Wilson 22 went to heaven to be our guardian Angel on January 28, 2020 in Spokane, WA. He was born June 23, 1997 in Lewistown the son of Nick and Brenda (Yaeger) Wilson. While attending school in Roy he worked for Shawn & Tammy Grindheim. After his graduation he moved to Spokane, WA working for Alpine Landscape, later changed to M & L Construction doing directional drilling. After 2 years in Spokane he moved to Billings and worked for Millennium Construction and then for Cuda Directional Drilling. In December Austin decided he missed his friends and girlfriend (Maddie), in Spokane and moved back on Monday, January 27th. He was so excited to start a new chapter of his life. He passed away on Tuesday from an accidental gunshot.

Austin had a way of brightening a room with his presence. Always smiling and having fun. He loved his family most. He loved spending time with his brothers, sister, nieces and nephews. He loved hunting, shooting and spending time with friends just being crazy. We are going to miss his big smile, hugs and everything about him.

He is survived by his parents Bart and Brenda Wilson of Hilger; brothers Tyler (Jenna) of Bozeman, MT and Thomas (Kalyn) and children Ava & Haiden of Huntley, MT; sister Jessie Wilson (Ryan) & children Elise, Rylee & Hunter of Laurel, MT; grandmother Betty Yaeger of Lewistown; grandparents Richard & Shirley Wilson of Coffee Creek, MT, Grandparents Jim & Louise Wilson of Alzada, MT and Grandparents Harry & Donna Weeden of Banner, WY; several uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Nick in 1998 and his grandfather Larry Yaeger in 2017.
