Brenda G. Jimmerson-Stahl

Brenda Jimmerson-Stahl, age 66, of Lewistown, MT was taken into the arms of her heavenly Father on Easter Sunday, April 4th, 2021. Brenda was born in Lewistown February 3rd, 1955 to Murray and Jean (Walker) Jimmerson.  Brenda attended the Salt Creek and Winifred schools and graduated from Fergus High School in Lewistown in 1973.

She loved anything to do with horses and enjoyed a time of working on the horse track in Miles City but eventually came back to join her parents on the family ranch in the Salt Creek area.  She loved ranching with her dad and enjoyed loading Miel in the back of the pickup and going to rodeos or horse play days with her mom.  She married Henry Stahl on May 21st, 1986 and moved, with her daughter Katrina, to join Henry and his children, Valerie and Jonas in Lewistown. 

She especially enjoyed working at Lewistown Livestock and Lewistown Veterinary.  She later worked at Lewistown Disposal services.  She made a lot of life-long friends while working at all of these places.   At home, she always made sure there were horses to ride, she loved to go "goating" in the goat-mobile (the old brown jeep pick-up), fishing with Henry and the kids and hunting deer and elk or shooting gophers at the ranch.  Brenda was very creative in so many ways and had a talent for drawing and painting with a fun, unique style.  She loved gifting items she made to those she loved and many of us were recipients of delicious jars of jam and jelly or crochet rugs and blankets.

We cherish many happy memories of card games with her and we will miss her sense of humor.  Especially Raleigh.

Brenda is survived by her mother Jean Jimmerson of Lewistown; husband Henry Stahl of Lewistown; children Katrina (Bob) Thennis of Ulm, MT, Jonas (Sarah) Stahl of Lewistown , Valerie Stahl of Lewistown; grand-children Olivia, Cora, Robby and Hailey, Grace, Camren; siblings Susan (Chris) Swanson of Denver, CO, Mick (Denise) Jimmerson of Lewistown, Debbie (Rick) Hill of Lewistown, Dennis (Leslee) Jimmerson of Helena, Peggy (Todd) Spear of Buffalo, MT and Scott (Trish) Jimmerson of Coeur d'Alene, ID; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Murray Jimmerson. 

Celebration of Life for Brenda Jimmerson-Stahl will be held Saturday April 24th, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Central Baptist Church in Lewistown -Lunch to follow. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
