Brian C. Pester

August 15, 1957 — May 13, 2017

Brian C. Pester 59 of Stanford died over the weekend of May 13th, 2017 while on his farm SE of Windham. He was born August 15, 1957 in Great Falls, Montana the son of Charles A. and Rose M. Pester. He received his schooling in Stanford graduating from Stanford High School in 1975. He then attended Northern Montana College, now MSU Northern in Havre. He returned to Lewistown where he worked as a mechanic, then returned to Stanford where he held many jobs over the years including the “City Man”, and operating Pester Tire and Repair. He worked for Youderian Construction for several years and then doing what he loved working as a farmer for himself and others.

Brian loved drag racing and has several trophies for his efforts, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and his cats, commonly known as a “cat herder”.

He is survived by his mother Rose M. of Stanford, MT; sisters Jean M. Raprager of Stanford and her children Derrick (Amanda), Dustin and son Damon, Danielle (Tim) Crabtree and children Dakota, Colt & Shiloh, Dabrianna (Cheslon) and daughter Charlie Ann; Christine Munsey of Townsend, MT and her children Connor and Hunter; Julie (Tom) Tatarka and children Shelby & Drew.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles.

Memorial Mass will be Thursday, May 18th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Stanford with committal to follow in the Stanford Cemetery. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
