Cecil F. Woods

Cecil F. Woods 92 of Lewistown died Sunday evening, February 26^th, 2017 in the Central Montana Nursing & Rehab Center of natural causes. She was born November 24, 1924 in Blood Creek, Petroleum County, Montana the daughter of John and Fannie (Massingail) Fairbairn. She received her education in Petroleum County Schools and then worked in the Winnett area until her marriage to Henry Woods on June 4, 1938 in Harlowton. They moved to Lewistown in 1942 and she was a stay at home mother. Henry preceded her in death in 1986, she continued to live in Lewistown until the time of her death.

Cecil enjoyed sewing and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her sons: Henry, Rodney, Jody, Toby and Daniel all of Lewistown and Barry of Billings, MT; daughters Nettie Egbert of Worland, WY, Ethel Espinoza of Lewistown, MT, Veronica Kinney of Fife, WA, Wanda Hoppis of Western Grove, AK and Anna Miller of Billings, MT; 28 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one son William, one granddaughter, one grandson, her parents and 11 siblings.

Memorial Graveside Services for Cecil F. Woods will be held later in Central Montana Memorial Gardens of Lewistown, cremation has taken place. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
