Charles B. Foster 83 of Lewistown died Tuesday afternoon, April 27th, 2021 at his home of natural causes. He was born August 17, 1937 in Prince Albert Saskatchewan Canada. He began his schooling in Canada and then the family moved to Great Falls, Montana and he attended Great Falls High School graduating in 1955. He then entered the United States Air Force in September of 1955 and was discharged in November of 1955. He returned to Montana and attended college for 2 years. He lived and worked in many places while doing various jobs. His primary occupation was working as a Bounty Hunter (fugitive recovery agent), working in California, Arizona, Oklahoma and Missouri. Charles was married and divorced in Missouri. In late 1999 he met Gayle M. Nichols when she was visiting Missouri while living in Illinois. On April 5, 2002 they were married in Berryville, AR and made their home in SW Missouri until moving to Lewistown in 2009.

Charles was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife Gayle of Lewistown; two sons Christopher and Craig in Oklahoma; step-son Denis G. Duncan, Jr. in Georgia; step-daughters Ashley Carr in Ohio and Lili Coval in Illinois; 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Charles B. Foster will be Saturday, May 1st, 2021 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Cloyd Chapel with Graveside Services to be at 2:00 p.m. in the Veterans Section of the Lewistown City Cemetery. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Friends are asked to make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Diabetes Association or to the charity of their choice and they may be left with the Cloyd Funeral Home. Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.cloydfuneralhome.com.
