Clyde W. Coulter 73 of Lewistown died Monday morning, January 9th, 2017 at the Central Montana Medical Center of natural causes. He was born May 16, 1943 in Lewistown the son of Richard W. and Elsie I. (Miller) Coulter. He received his schooling at Roy graduating from Roy High School in 1961. He then entered the United States Navy serving in Viet Nam. Following his discharge in 1965 he returned to Montana where he worked in Great Falls before returning to Lewistown. On July 12, 1968, he was united in marriage to Elaine Zitzlsperger in Lewistown, they later divorced. He worked at Reese Tire & Fuel Center until the early 1970’s when he went to work as a firefighter for the Lewistown Fire Department. Clyde retired for medical reasons in the early 1980’s as a Captain. He then worked at the Montana Center for the Aged and various clerk jobs in Lewistown until his retirement.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and time with family and friends.
He is survived by one daughter Heidi (David) Jenkins of Billings, MT; two brothers Dick (Caroline) of Greeley, CO and Bob of Lewistown, MT; one sister Sue (John) Bleth in Arizona; two granddaughters Justine and Alison and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Scott in 1992 and his parents.
Graveside Memorial Services for Clyde W. Coulter will be Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lewistown City Cemetery, cremation has taken place. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
