Donna Denise (Puder) Jacobsen, born May 15 1964 in Redondo Beach, California got her Angel Wings on Mar 14, 2024, at 59 years old. She passed at home. She’s the daughter of Dr. Donald and Mrs. Evelyn Puder. She traveled with her family and lived in many places while growing up, California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Idaho. She was living in Lewistown, Montana where she worked as a Dental Hygienist.
She attended elementary and High School in Filer and Buhl, Id. She started her next level school with Job Corps in Astoria, OR ultimately achieving her Dental Hygienist Diploma at Oregon Institute of Technology.
She worked as a Hygienist in Kimberly, Twin Falls, Great Falls, and finally in Lewistown, Montana. She loved her career as a hygienist and truly enjoyed helping and interacting with her dental family. She met and married Jeff Jacobsen while working in the Magic Valley and they had some good times together eventually divorcing. After divorce she moved to Montana for a fresh start.
Along with her working career, Donna volunteered many years with local Search and Rescue organizations along with her German Shepherds: Rommel, Frankie, Annika, and Cobain. During her time with Search and Rescue, she received her certification as an EMT adding that next level of aid to people in need. She participated in many successful searches over the years. She was dedicated to helping people and loved her dogs very much. She really liked getting in the outdoors, walking her dogs, and just exploring on these adventures. She loved greenery and with her green thumb, she nurtured many different plants and had a large variety of house plants that she shared with all of her friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving mother Evelyn Puder, her father Dr. Donald Puder, and a niece Julie Lynn Steelsmith. She is survived by her older sisters Carol Steelsmith (James), Cheryl Adams (David), Tina Dingman (Mike) younger brothers James Puder and John Puder (Kara), and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
