Glenn E. Gauer

October 25, 1950 — July 14, 2019

Glenn E. Gauer 68 of Lewistown passed away Sunday evening, July 14th, 2019 near Raynesford as the result of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident. He was born October 25, 1950 in Lewistown the son of Myron F. and Constance M. (Nelson) Gauer. He received his education in Lewistown graduating from Fergus High School in 1969. He then entered the United States Marine Corp, serving 3 years and then returning to Lewistown following his Honorable Discharge. He went to work for Moodie Implement as a Truck Driver, he was injured in an accident and could no longer work as a truck driver. He worked at Snuffy's and Little Big Men. He worked for a time at the Ford Ranch in Livingston returning to Lewistown and working at Albertson's until the early 2000's. He then worked as a volunteer for the Senior Center and was active in the Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge and the American Legion.

He is survived by three brothers Martin (Judy) of Columbus, MT, Dale (Mollye) of Helena, MT and Roger of Great Falls, MT; sisters Marie (Andy) Anderson of Grand Coulee, WA and Beth Ann Korst of Great Falls, MT; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Daniel and one brother-in-law Jerry Korst.

Graveside Memorial Services for Glenn E. Gauer will be Friday, July 19th, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in Central Montana Memorial Gardens. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family. Cremation has taken place.
