Helen Marie Johnson passed away peacefully, surrounded by those that loved her most on July 8th, 2024. Helen was born on June 14, 1959, to Doug and Agnes Johnson in Fort Benton, Montana. As the youngest of nine children, she was indeed spoiled, but she grew up to channel that love into her passions and her family.
Helen's life was a testament to the beauty of creativity and nature. She had a deep love for crocheting, crafting, and gardening, which brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Her artistic hands and green thumb created warmth and beauty that touched the lives of everyone around her.
Helen’s greatest joy in life was being a devoted grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, nurturing them with the same love and care she poured into her passions.
Helen leaves behind her children Ryan (Melissa), KC (Jerry), and Robyn. Grandchildren Haven, Madyson, William, Morgan, Sarah, Emilea, Kamdyn.Helen is also survived by her sisters: Bonnie Soulsby (Ray) of Stanford, MT; Carol Anderson (Swede) of Missoula, MT; and her special sister (cousin) Alice Honrud. She is fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, Nancy and Hildie, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Helen is preceded in death by her siblings Leonard, Leland, John, William, Byron and Florence.
Helen's ambition to create beauty in the world will forever inspire those who knew her. She showed that a life dedicated to creativity and family can indeed be a life well-live.
Helen requested that instead of a traditional service, her ashes be scattered atop the Judith Mountains by her beloved children and family, at her most cherished location. Memorials can be made to Tough Enough to Wear Pink of Central Montana or The Legacy House of Great Falls, MT.
