James C. 'Jim' Fuller

April 7, 1937 — February 26, 2018

James C. Fuller 80 of Lewistown died Monday morning, February 26th, 2018 in Billings Clinic of natural causes. He was born April 7, 1937 in Lewistown the son of Theodore and Elizabeth (Fuorstonaw) Fuller. The family moved to the Greenfield Bench and he attended Rural Crowe School and then Simms High School graduating in 1955. After high school he was drafted into the United States Army and served in Korea. Following his discharge, he returned to Montana and worked at the smelter in Great Falls. He then went to work at the Post Office in Roy for a year and then moved to Lewistown and worked at the Post Office. Jim met the love of his life Diana (Lodman) Handford and they were united in marriage on May 26, 1977 in Lewistown. They made their home in Lewistown and he worked as a mail carrier until his retirement.

After his retirement he had more time to do the things he enjoyed, gardening, fishing, bowling and talking with anyone. His favorite subject to talk about was the grandkids and the furry kids.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Lewistown.

He is survived by five step-children Ken (Laurie) Handford, Kathy (Rex) Coleman, Kris (Scott) Perkins all of Lewistown, Amy Martin of Laurel, MT and Jan (Heath) Cox of Billings, MT; four sisters Karen Boomer of Maryland, Maxine Breidenbach of Miles City, MT, Lucy McShane and Eileen Fuller both in North Carolina; brother-in-law (and fishing buddy) Don Bowen of Philipsburg, MT; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Diana in 2012, his parents, two sisters Linda Henry of Helena and Janice Bowen of Philipsburg, MT.

Services for James (Jim) Fuller will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place with the Cloyd Funeral Home assisting the family.
