Janice C. Lafountain

Janice C. (Rich) LaFountain 62 of Lewistown passed away Monday morning, February 6^th, 2017 in the Central Montana Medical Center of cancer. She was born June 17, 1954 in Lewistown the daughter of Jack and Hazel (Dahlsman) Rich. She received her education in Lewistown and then was united in marriage to Butz Glidewell they made their home in Lewistown with their son Justin, they later divorced. In 1973 she was united in marriage to Robert LaFountain continuing to live in Lewistown with daughter Tonya and son Cody. She worked at Paris Laundry and Cleaners and Valle Vista Manor. They moved to South Dakota and she worked in the mines and at the cheese factory. They returned to Lewistown in 1980 and she was a stay at home mom.

Janice loved fishing and camping especially down on the Missouri River and with the addition of grandchildren she loved spending time with them and her entire family.

She is survived by her children Justin Glidewell of Billings, MT, Tonya (Lonnie) Cripps of Grass Range, MT and Cody LaFountain of Deer Lodge, MT; brothers Jimmie Rich of Lewistown, Charlie Rich of Missoula, MT; sisters JoAnn May of Lakeside, MT, Judy Wolfe of Billings, MT and Julie Van Dyke of Lewistown, MT; brother-in-law Larry Bailey of Townsend, MT and sister-in-law Marianne Burleigh of Lewistown; Nine grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services for Janice C. LaFountain will be Thursday, February 9^th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Celebration Community Fellowship Church with interment to follow in the Lewistown City Cemetery. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
