Joshua A. Debelly

Joshua A. DeBelly 42 of Lewistown, died Tuesday evening, August 3, 2021 in the Central Montana Medical Center of injuries sustained in an accident that day.  He was born August 8, 1978 in Brighton Beach, FL the son of Jerry Zott and Kathryn A. (Macomber) DeBelly.  He received his schooling in Montana graduating from Fergus High School in 1997.  He then entered the U.S. Navy returning to Lewistown following his discharge and a short time in the Denver, CO area. He also attended Brewery School in Chicago following his return to Lewistown with the help of his aunt and uncle.  He worked construction and as a bartender until the time of his death.

Josh was active in the local pool leagues for many years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed camping and hiking, especially around the family cabin with his children. He joked and quoted lines from books and movies he enjoyed.

He is survived by his girlfriend Nichole Kremer, his children Tyler and Amber; step-children Seth, Devin and Jade Kremer and Elise Carter; his parents Carl and Kathryn; step mother Marsha Zott; his grandfather Carl DeBelly of Snohomish, WA; one brother Carl "Bo" (Kelsey) all of Lewistown; step-brother Ryan Balser;  one sister Amy (Logan) Arnold of Billings, MT; half-sisters Shelly Harbert and Samara Coleman; step-sisters Carrie Balser and Kimberly Ford; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; his 5 dogs and 2 cats.

He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Zott, 2 uncles and 3 grandparents.

A Celebration of Life for Joshua A. DeBelly will be held on Saturday, August 21^st, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Montana Tavern and is being catered by the Eagles Club. Cremation has taken place.  The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
