Julia Catherine Marie Johnson, 37, of Lewistown, MT, died suddenly of natural causes on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. She was born October 16, 1982 in Perth, Western Australia, and is the daughter of Roger and Bridgett (Browne) Johnson. She started her schooling in Perth and then the family returned to Lewistown in 1988 and completed her schooling in Lewistown, graduating from Fergus High School in 2001. She then attended Carroll College in Helena and Montana State University Billings. She returned to Lewistown and worked helping family and others with healthcare needs. She took on-line courses with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh receiving an Associate Degree in Graphic Design in 2014.
Julia was always helping others, she had a very strong, positive social media presence with connections throughout the world. She enjoyed watching movies, going to the beach, friends and animals. She was active in S.A.F.E. (Saving Animals From Euthanasia) by temporarily fostering several dogs and cats. She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her parents, Roger and Bridgett Johnson of Lewistown; brothers: James of Manchester, NH, Erik of Bismarck, ND and Joel of Davis, CA; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and a cousin Janeille Johnson.
Memorial Service for Julia Johnson is on Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Leo's Catholic Church. Committal will take place at a later date in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Cremation has taken place with the Cloyd Funeral Home assisting the family.
