Kevin H. Rector, 59, of Lewistown died Monday evening, January 6, 2025 at his home following a year-long battle with cancer. He was born June 22, 1965 in Lewistown to Lynn and Charlotte Rector. He received his education in Lewistown graduating from Fergus High School in 1983. Kevin worked in Lewistown at Buttrey Food & Drug from 1986-1995. From there, he worked for Big Spring Water. On his water route, he met Geri. After leaving Big Spring Water, he went to work as a manager at Depot Express. In 2011, Kevin became a dispatcher and supervisor at Casino Creek Concrete. He continued working for Casino Creek Concrete until the time of his death.
On June 29, 1996 he was united in marriage to Geri Harmon in Miles City. They made their home in Lewistown where they raised their family. They have two children, Brooke and Ryan.
Kevin enjoyed hunting, playing basketball and softball, watching Fergus basketball, going to the family cabin, and spending time with family and friends. Kevin was a loving husband and father. He rarely missed an opportunity to lend a hand, engage in conversation, or bring a smile to others.
Kevin is survived by his wife Geri, son Ryan, daughter Brooke; mother Charlotte; brothers Tod (Diane) and Kirby (Jeannette) all of Lewistown and sister Wanda Garcia of Mesa, AZ; mother-in-law Nancy (Bob) Stratton of Green Bay, WI; brother-in-law Jeff (Ondria) Harmon of Laurel, MT; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Lynn and father-in-law Jack Harmon.
Celebration of Life for Kevin Rector will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 in the First Christian Church in Lewistown. Committal will take place at a later date in the Lewistown Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family,
