On June 5, 1949 she was united in marriage to Robert Sinclair in Lewistown and they made their home in Winnett and they later divorced. On December 21, 1957 she was united in marriage to Dewitt C. Mom was amazing! Think about it, 7 kids, cooking, cleaning, working outside and imagine the laundry. She was Dad's right-hand man, which at times wasn't an easy task I'm sure, yet she did it all with ease from riding to "tractor tower" and enjoyed every minute of it! She loved having a "full house" and you can bet her home was a little on the warm side, ha-ha. She was the sounding board for "good ideas", "bad ideas" and everything in between. Mom would you ask Dad if I can take the pickup to town? If Dad would tell us a story that was "as true as true can be", we'd ask Mom if that was true and if she replied "now Clint" it might not have been true. She had nerves of steel I'm sure, the proof was riding shotgun with Dad on some of their road trips. Probably where Dad's parting words "for every mile of road, there's two miles of ditches", came from.
Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her whole world and she was ours. She was the biggest fan in whatever activity her crew was interested in.
Words cannot express what an amazing inspiration she was. If you were happy and wanted to share you called mom. If you were sad and needed a shoulder, you called mom. If you were mad and needed to vent you called mom. If you couldn't remember who was related to so and so, you called mom. When Heaven gets a phoneâ¦. "We love you Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma"
She is survived by three sons Don Sinclair of Mosby, MT, Bill (Rose) Woodford of Superior, MT and Jay (Wyna) Woodford of Mosby, MT; two daughters Paula (Duane) Johnston of Billings, MT and Jana (Kevin) Kelly of Brusett, MT; 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
