Mark Zuidema

Mark A. Zuidema 67 of Hilger passed away Sunday, December 18th, 2022 at his home of natural causes. He was born March 6, 1955 in Paterson, NJ the son of Richard and Marcia (Hey) Zuidema. He grew up and received his education in Prospect Park, NJ where he worked until 1979 when he moved to Montana settling and working in the Bozeman area. During this time, he met his life partner Jody Menge. They lived in Bozeman until 1987 when they moved to Saco to help with her family ranch. In 1998 they moved to Hilger and purchased the Rainbow Bar. Jody preceded him in death in 2007. He continued living in Hilger and operated the Rainbow for a few additional years. He met and married Terri Lee Owen, they later divorced.

Mark loved the outdoors, the mountains and visiting with people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jody and ex-wife Terri.

He is survived by one brother Richard (Kathy) in Florida; two sisters Bonnie Zuidema in Florida and Cheryl Boyle in Lewistown; one nephew Steve and one niece Amy.

At his request cremation has taken place and no services will be held. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
