Michael George (Mike) Wollman 77 of Flatwillow Ranch passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, July 10th, 2018, at his home of natural causes, surrounded by family. He was born June 8, 1941 in Lewistown, MT the son of George and Sarah (Hofer) Wollman. He grew up near Lewistown and on December 1st, 1968 he was united in marriage to Susanna Hofer. Mike grew up the true Montanan way. He was a hard-working cowboy, farmer, rancher and gardener who took great pride in all that he did. He loved rodeos and was sure to receive a subscription to the Western Horseman every year for Christmas. Planting crops and haying time were some of his favorite seasons. We can still see him kneeling by his small garden right outside the kitchen window, making sure there was not a single weed next to his precious plants. From his garden to his starched dress shirt, jeans, vest, cowboy hat and meticulous curl, he was neat as a pin. Whether it was a sprinkler head that needed fixing, a litter of piglets in the barn, or a batch of stray kittens under his porch, he took great care of whatever he touched. Dad loved his family, black licorice, lemon drops, checking his mail, his adopted dog (Spike) and a strong cup of coffee early in the morning.
Most of all, Dad loved the peaceful, quiet solitude of his home at Flatwillow Ranch, where he will be laid to rest.
He is survived by his wife Susie; six children Helen (Brad) Stahl and grandchildren Zane, Tia and Kenyon of Flatwillow Ranch, Miriam (Reuben) Stahl and grandchildren Muriah, Sonya (Dillon) Scheetz, Caleb of Laurel, MT, Mick (Debbie) Wollman and grandchildren Whitney, Roman (Tylee) and great grandson Reid and Cameron of the Flatwillow Ranch, Junia Wollman of Laurel, MT, Tammy (Sam) Huseby and grandson Wyatt of Laurel, MT, Marlene (Lester) Martin and grandchildren Austin, Sierra and Summer of Woodbury, TN; sisters Katie (Ben) Stahl of Grass Range, MT and Susie (Mike) Hofer of Walsh, Alberta; numerous nieces and nephews
