Neil A. Glass

On the evening of December 7^th, 2020, Neil passed away after an eventful life filled with cattle, horses, and Caterpillars. Born on May 23^rd, 1941, in Denton, Montana to Charles and Lucile (Murray) Glass. Neil developed an early love for yellow iron while working the land of his family's farm North East of Denton, Montana on Bear Springs Road. He would always attribute his knowledge of moving soil with heavy equipment to Ludwig Lange, although he had also spent time at heavy equipment school in Weizer, Idaho. In addition to his love for Caterpillar equipment, Neil also held a lifelong passion for driving teams of horses and along with his father fed cows with his favorite team Star and Queeny. Because of these two passions many people respected him as both a CAT and Mule Skinner.

Neil and his brother Ken founded Glass Trucking in the year of 1960, in which Neil was half owner as well as a very dependable driver. Neil logged millions of miles in his trucks with many of those miles running in a separate truck alongside his close friend Tom Evans to California and back.

Everyone who knew Neil, knew of each of his passions and respected him for the dedication and knowledge he had for each of them. Neil was loved by many and leaves behind his many valuable lessons, historical facts, and wonderful stories to all who would listen.

Neil is proceeded in death by his parents Charles and Lucile (Murray) Glass.

Surviving Neil are his siblings Kenneth Glass and sister Cheryl Glass both of Denton, MT. Niece's Kendra Glass of Spokane, WA and Jami (Scott) Miller of Denton, MT, great niece Mackenzie (Brennan) Fisher of Dickinson, ND; nephew Brain "Ace" Glass of Kimball, NE (As Neil would call him) and great nephews AJ Glass and Tucker Miller. Also Surviving Neil are his children Keith (Rungsima) Glass of Denton, MT, Nada (Roger) Bakos of Seattle, WA and his grandson Henry and granddaughter Ellis Bakos.
