Phyllis S Willems, June 24, 1930 - October 4, 2024

Following a brief illness, Phyllis Darlene Schanke Willems sent her spirit soaring to join her Heavenly Father and her beloved and much missed husband and parents on October 4. Her daughter was at her side.

Born on June 24, 1930 in the hospital at the bottom of the Graves Hotel hill, Phyllis was the only child of Art and Esther (née Ringhand) Schanke. She graduated from Harlowton High School in 1948 and married Robert E “Bob” Willems on June 16, 1949. That union produced two children, Robert A (Bobby) and Rebecca A (Becky). Bob predeceased Phyllis just over a month before their 75th wedding anniversary. She is survived by Bobby and his wife, Sherrie; Becky and her husband Dale Livingston; grandchildren Dawn Livingston Tait and Robin Willems; and great grandchildren Lamont and Amelia Tait.

A complete obituary will be published later. A joint memorial service for Bob and Phyllis will be held at a later date.
