Robert Coyle Edwards

Robert (Bob) Coyle Edwards 67 of Murray, Utah passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Bob was born June 23, 1954 in Lewistown, Montana to Orville LaVern (Vern) and Ruth (Lehman) Edwards. He grew up in Lewistown, and on the family ranch outside Moore, Montana as well as in West Yellowstone.

In the 1970's he moved from West Yellowstone, Montana to Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a paramedic there for several years and then worked in accounting for Metz Baking Company. In 1989 he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he continued to work in accounting and as the controller for several of the home building companies there during the big housing boom. He retired after many years in that industry. In April 2021 he moved back to the Salt Lake area and bought a new home in Murray, Utah.

Bob had multiple interests. He loved to write stories and was even able to have a novel published. He loved to be surrounded by photographs of family and friends. He enjoyed cooking and hosted many wonderful holiday dinners. He loved Christmas and always made sure our house and yard were decorated to the max each and every year. He was always the life of a party and he always had fun being around people.

Bob is survived by his husband Randy Larsen of Murray, UT; two daughters Christie (Scott) Larsen of Evanston, WY and Corie (Phillip) Thomas of Manhattan, Montana; five grandchildren, Ashley, Brooklyn, Kyler, Ethan and Sam; siblings Barbara McLaughlin of Bozeman, MT; Linda (Dale) Johnson of Sheridan, WY; Carole (Larry) McWilliams of Spanaway, WA; Linda Bergum, Kent, WA; Jeanette (Bob) Montgomery of Park City, MT and John (Mary) Edwards of Belgrade, MT.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Orville LaVern Edwards, mother, Ruth Lehman Edwards, sisters Marjorie Ruth Sherman and Lauralee Ann Lindeland and brother Terry McLaughlin.

Graveside Services for Robert (Bob) Edwards will be Saturday, August 21^st, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Beaver Creek Cemetery with the Cloyd Funeral Home assisting the family.
