Ronald L. Craig

Ronald L. Craig 63 of Lewistown died early Monday morning, August 5^th, 2019 at Crooked Creek. He was born December 28, 1955 in Lewistown the son of Jack and Glenna (Potterf) Craig. He received his schooling in Lewistown Schools. He worked on area ranches until the late 1970's when he went to work for the Milwaukee Railroad. On July 12, 1980 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Carri Bishop in Christina, MT. He continued with the railroad which became Burlington Northern and they lived in Judith Gap, later moving to Christina and then to Lewistown. He retired in the late 2000's after 30 years with the railroad. After his retirement he kept busy helping anyone that needed help. In 2016 his son Slim and daughter-in-law purchased the marina at Crooked Creek Ronnie was the go-to man and entertainer with telling stories and drinking beer. Ronnie and Carri were the couple at Crooked Creek during the summer months.

Ron loved fishing, boating, hunting, friends and family but most of all his grandkids.

He was a member of the The Crooked Creek Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited, the Eagles Club, American Legion Club, City Pool League and the "Ranger" Club.

He is survived by his wife Carri, sons James "Slim" (Abbie) and Jacob (Tamsen) all of Lewistown; daughter Jessica Goodhart of Geyser, MT; his father Jack and brother Larry "Snort" both of Christina; sister Joann Geary of Lewistown; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers-in-law Curtis Geary and Curtis Bishop.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17^th, 2019 at the Eagles Club at 1:00 p.m. At his request Cremation has taken place. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
