Roseanna Lea Kuhfus

Roseanna Lea Kuhfus, 72, of Lewistown passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Valle Vista in Lewistown. She was born June 3, 1952 in Peoria, Illinois, to her parents William and Norma Purkel. 

 Roseanna enjoyed creating arts and crafts, tending to her live plants, indoors and out, and had a great love for life. This love extended to the pets at home and those she visited, and to the horses she had the opportunity to ride and brush on. Greater still was her unconditional love for her family, for which she gave everything she had and then some to provide and care for. Furthermore, she had love to give her friends and those she conversed with in passing, and those she met with more regularly at work, church, or during her visit to the Coffee Cup to acquire her savored mug of Mocha Breve.

 She is survived by her daughter Bethany Eide (John) of Lewistown, sons David Pein of Lewistown, Jonathan Kuhfus (Sloan) of Arizona and Brent Kuhfus of Colorado, brother John Prasch of Jefferson, Wisconsin, sister Theresa Yount of Rockford, Illinois, and Beth Fussell of Alabama and 8 grandchildren.

 She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dennis Kuhfus, son John Phillip Kuhfus, & sister Cindy Joyner.

 Memorial services for Dennis & Roseanna will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the First Christian Church in Lewistown. Pastor Jake Zauche will be officiating.
