Ruth Irene Staudt

Ruth Irene Staudt, 96, of Lewistown passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 at Valle Vista Manor in Lewistown, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 13, 1927 at the family ranch near Denton, MT., to her parents Galan Kallam & Lottie Mae Harrington. At the age of 2, Ruth was adopted by her new parents August & Gladys (Kallam) Asbjornson.  

 Ruth was raised and attended school in Winifred. In 1948, she married John Blazicevich and to this union came four children John, Steve, Tim and Debbie. They later divorced and in 1970, she married Chris Staudt, who precedes her in death. 

 She enjoyed collecting nicknacks, especially salt and pepper shakers. She enjoyed going to dances and she an honorary member of the Eagles. 

 She worked various jobs in Lewistown as a waitress, dietary aid at St. Joseph Hospital and Eagles Manor, personal aide with the Council on Aging and Meals on Wheels. 

 She is survived by her sons John Blazicevich (Bonnie) of Lewistown, Steve Blazicevich (Nadine) of Billings, Tim Blazicevich of Winifred and daughter Debbie Elhert (Dan Nelson) of Bozeman, 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

 Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 2 half-brothers.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
