Theodore "Ted" Walton Hogeland 80 of Lewistown died Friday, July 30th, 2021 in Caslen Living Center of natural causes. He was born January 18, 1941 in Lewistown the son of Theodore and Thelma J. (Yerkes) Hogeland. He received his education in Lewistown Schools graduating from Fergus High School in 1959. He attended the University of Montana at Missoula where he received his teaching degree. He taught for a few years is several places including Rapeljie and Geraldine. He returned to Lewistown and began working at the Montana Center for the Aged in the late 1960's retiring in the late 1980's. He continued to make his home in Lewistown until the time of his death.
Ted enjoyed photography, playing the piano and organ and visiting with family and friends.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lewistown and an active member of the Gideons.
He is survived by one sister Tobe Herfert of Lakewood, CO; numerous nieces and nephews including Jenifer Hansen of Belt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers A. William (Tike) and Daniel W. (Bud) and one sister Mary (Sue) Turner.
A viewing for Ted will be held on Wednesday, August 4th, 2021 in the Cloyd Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 5:00 p.m.
Funeral Services for Ted Hogeland will be Thursday, August 5th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church with committal to follow in Central Montana Memorial Gardens of Lewistown. A social hour will be held in the First Presbyterian Church's Sunshine Room after the committal has taken place. The Cloyd Funeral Home is assisting the family.
