Tim Lloyd Badertscher

Tim Lloyd Badertscher, 72, of Stanford, MT, passed away on November 21, 2024.

Tim was born in Massillon, OH on December 13th, 1951. He graduated from Indian Valley North High School and continued with his studies at Kent State before enlisting in the US Air Force, serving as a helicopter mechanic.

Tim was married to his high school sweetheart, the late Nadine, for 31 years before her passing in 2003. Tim was blessed to find love again and was thrilled to marry Joy Baker on December 17th, 2006.

Tim (aka Maddog) was an exceptional man who loved completely. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and devotion to family and friends. He adored his late wife Nadine, and with all his heart loved his wife, Joy, his children Adam (Amanda), Corey (Nick), Tim (Penny), Lee (Mystelle), and his 6 cherished granddaughters: Jade, Ruby, Bella, Lily, Sadie, and Holly. Tim leaves a legacy of a loving extended family and many very close friends.

For most of his life, Tim worked as a heavy equipment operator, retiring from Black Thunder Coal Mine in Wyoming in 2020. He cherished spending time with loved ones, tinkering with all things mechanical and keeping his yard beautiful. He believed there was no problem he couldn’t fix, especially if duct tape was nearby!

Tim is preceded in death by his first wife, Nadine, his parents, Donivan and Janis, his brothers, Terry and Ross, and a wide circle of family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Judith Basin County Sheriff's Office or Judith Basin County EMT for their quick response and compassion.

Tim’s graveside service with military honors was held on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024. A celebration of life will be held in Ohio on a date to be determined.

Tim has loved well and was well loved!
