Winnifred (Hannah) Rush, 85, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2022 at Valle Vista Manor, Lewistown, MT, formerly of Deer Lodge, MT. Born on September 19, 1937, in Pasco, WA, to George and Berniece Delany.
She was married to Wayne Hannah and resided in Moore, MT, where they had four children before divorcing.
She graduated from Fergus County High School in Lewistown, MT. She was a member of The Order of Eastern Star. Spent much of her life volunteering for 4-H, Rainbow, Veteran of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary in which she was awarded a Life Membership. She called bingo and helped at nursing homes and was awarded “Volunteer of the Year” with many accolades for her services. She did clerical work for the State of Montana.
She is survived by two sons, Alan and wife Deb Hannah, Bismarck, ND; Fred Hannah, Moore, MT; one daughter, Mary Alice and husband Robert Lindenmuth, Frackville, PA; a sister, Ilene and husband Ralph Farrar, Moore, MT; two sisters-in-law; three step children, three half-brothers and sister; one aunt; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by William Rush, her husband of 19 years; daughter Nancy Proulx; parents, Edgar and Berniece Cripps and three brothers, Donald, Kenneth and William Cripps.
A memorial graveside will be held at the Moore Cemetery on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Frank Day Park in Lewistown, MT at 11:30 a.m.
